If other users initiate a domain change to move a domain from their customer account into your customer account, you receive an email notification for the account change. The email notification includes a Transaction ID and Security Code that you need to use to complete the registrant change. If you do not currently have a customer account with us, you must create one before proceeding.

To Accept a Registrant Change

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
    or
    If you do not have an account, click Create a New Account and complete the fields to set up your account.
  2. In the My Products section, click Manage Domains.
  3. From the Domains menu, select Pending Account Changes.
  4. Click Accept Domains, and then complete the following:
    Transaction ID
    The identification code sent to the email address on file.
    Security Code
    The security code sent to the email address on file.
  5. Click Continue and then proceed through checkout to complete the free transaction.

NOTE: Registrant changes should be completed within 10 days, before the transaction ID and security code expire.
