If other users initiate a domain change to move a domain from their customer account into your customer account, you receive an email notification for the account change. The email notification includes a Transaction ID and Security Code that you need to use to complete the registrant change. If you do not currently have a customer account with us, you must create one before proceeding.
If other users initiate a domain change to move a domain from their customer account into your customer account, you receive an email notification for the account change. The email notification includes a Transaction ID and Security Code that you need to use to complete the registrant change. If you do not currently have a customer account with us, you must create one before proceeding. To Accept a Registrant Change- Log in to your Account Manager.
or If you do not have an account, click Create a New Account and complete the fields to set up your account. - In the My Products section, click Manage Domains.
- From the Domains menu, select Pending Account Changes.
- Click Accept Domains, and then complete the following:
- Transaction ID
- The identification code sent to the email address on file.
- Security Code
- The security code sent to the email address on file.
- Click Continue and then proceed through checkout to complete the free transaction.
NOTE: Registrant changes should be completed within 10 days, before the transaction ID and security code expire. |
